Insurance Handling
Submitting Insurance Claims
As a courtesy, Burke Dental submits insurance claims to most dental insurance carriers on behalf of our patients. We handle the paperwork, so you don’t have to worry about the administrative burden. Most dental insurance plans will remit payment directly to our office, and we collect any required co-payments at the time of service.
Balance Invoicing
Once we receive any payment from your insurance carrier, we will send you an invoice for any remaining balance, according to the terms agreed upon between you and your insurance provider.
Please Note
Your agreement with your insurance carrier is a private arrangement between you and the carrier. Although we assist with filing insurance claims and confirming payments as a courtesy, we do not assume responsibility for following up with your insurance carrier. If your insurance does not pay within 60 days from the date of service, we will bill you for the remaining balance, which will be due upon receipt.
